Kris Davidson

At the age of 15, Kris Davidson began a series of what he would refer to as doodles.

Although he has drawn since before he can remember, it was at this point when he began his life work by delving into geometrical subject matter.
These doodles have and still are developing into the pattern intensive compositions that permeate his paintings. Kris was born in Atlanta, Ga and has since lived in Athens, Ga, Maui, San Francisco, and has presently returned to his roots in Athens. He works devotedly in his studio and continues to paint with live music.
Apart from the medium of painting, Kris is studying animation and interactive technology where he seeks to bring movement to what he paints and synchronize it with music. Kris's vision is for this to eventually evolve into the architectural manifestation of his paintings. He says: 'At its essence, my work is just an evolution of a doodle that weaves its way through each phase of the creative process. Every step that is taken is representative of where Im at in life and what Im working on. Simultaneously, these steps sort of mirror the developmental steps that are emerging on the cusp of humanity at large.'
