The subjective reality of my work is a je ne sais quoi, a deja vu, a persistence of memory that will strike me at the oddest moments. It is the sensation that is familiar, and environment and situation that were until that moment familiar or real, but now unfamiliar or unreal. The moment is surreal.

It is in that moment that we experience illumination, or if it eludes us, a nightmare.

All living things are an emanation of spirit manifest in matter. When we can see with eyes unclouded, unprejudiced, we can reach the Copernican realisation that while we are the centre of our (own) universe, we are not the centre of the Universe. In placing our ego in correct proportion we will realise that beauty, spirit, is manifest in many forms, and that every living thing is due respect.
